As a five-time CEO of VC and PE backed technology companies, and having held nearly every other executive position, I understand how businesses work and the challenges every CEO faces. During my career, the most valuable advice and counsel I received was from other CEOs and operators who had walked in my shoes. Even the greatest athletes need a coach, and though they may not play the sport better than the athlete, the coach adds enormous value. It is said that CEO is a lonely role, and just having someone to bounce ideas off of is very valuable. Like a coach, I serve as an independent, trusted advisor with only the CEO’s best interest in mind. My role is to create a safe space to work together on strategy, operations, personnel challenges, or whatever is top of mind for the CEO. I bring my extensive toolkit and experience to the table.
